Active Missionaries

Christina Manuel - Pakistan

Christina works to help provide the persecuted church of Pakistan with a better life by offering skills in trades at sewing schools, financial aide for university students, and life's necessities often denied to Christians by their culture.

 The Emmanuel Foundation

Our Youth Missions Team travels to Guadalajara Mexico every summer to help the Emmanuel Foundation continue on their mission of bringing the gospel of Jesus to orphans, prisoners, and impoverished families in Guadalajara. 

The House PNW, Church Plant

Sonlight Church recognized a need in the city of Lynden to reach the de-churched and un-churched in an unconventional way. The House has numerous house churches in the area that meet as a unified body once a month.

Mitchell Senti - Envision Ministries

Envision Ministries works to provide a Christ-centered community to the broken, lonely, and impoverished of Bellingham and Whatcom County through discipleship and service. 

Rusty Polinder - Kidstown international

Kidstown International is a network of orphanages that cares for orphaned and neglected children in Romania, Nepal, and India by improving the quality of life, offering hope, and providing educational opportunities in a Christ-centered environment.

New Way Ministries

New Way Ministries is a transitional living facility for homeless women and children who may be struggling from addiction, domestic violence, human trafficking, or a crisis pregnancy. They minister to the immediate needs of each woman and child in a loving Christian atmosphere.

Bridges of Hope

The Bridges of Hope home provides a Christ-centered transformational community by helping men released from jail, prison, and substance abuse rehabilitation centers to get back on their feet and start living productive lives. 

Project Hope Food Bank

CHA addresses the immediate physical needs of people in the greater Lynden area by providing things necessary to life, including food, housing assistance, and help obtaining access to medical care.  

rock the block

Rock the Block is a multi-church VBS event that leaves the 4-walls of church to bring the good news of Jesus to the kids of Lynden through a  fun filled 3-day day camp and reaches parents and other community members through a community block party.

Whatcom Dream

Whatcom Dream changes lives through education in financial literacy. Offering a hand-up in learning lifelong skills to people who find themselves in financial distress. They also work to educate the community at large about poverty-related issues, focusing on strategies that will truly help someone struggling with financial distress.
