PSALM 34:8
“TASTE & SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD!”
ABOUT SONLIGHT KIDS
Your kids are important to us. We desire to partner together so that the Word of the Lord would grow in the hearts of children. That’s why we have created a safe space with age-appropriate environments where children can ask questions, be themselves, and discover the hero of every
Bible story and our lives—JESUS!
WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AT SONLIGHT THIS SUNDAY.

WELCOME TO CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES
Which Classes Do I go TO?
Sundays
Sonlight Seeds
0-24 MO
Nursery is the first encounter that the tiniest of our congregation have with the church. With that in mind, we provide a safe and beautiful place for babies to experience God’s love.
Sonlight Sprouts
2-5 YR Olds
In our preschool ministry, we create the first building blocks of a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We sing, we dance, we play, we laugh, we make friends, and focus on four foundational truths: God is King, we sinned, God sent Jesus, and Jesus loves us.
Sonlight Sojourners
1st - 6th grade
In our elementary ministry, we build a strong, gospel-centered foundation while having fun. We teach how the entire canon of Scripture is about God’s plan to save us through Jesus. Our lessons are redemption-focused in three significant ways: highlighting God’s character, exposing the human condition, and revealing God’s plan for redemption.
Mid-week
Twice a month on Wednesday evenings we gather for a family meal called Encounter. This includes a meal served at 6:15 pm, and then at 7:00 pm children break off for a time focused on discipleship and mentorship provided by our church community.
GEMS
Girls 1st - 5th Grade
Cadets
Boys 2nd - 6th grade
At GEMS we focus on recognizing the beauty of the Gospel in everyday life. To that end, we work on earning badges and learn new skills to see where and how God is moving in the little and big things like gardening, sewing, and our friendships. We play together, work together, learn together, and do life together!
Cadets helps boys become more Christlike in all areas of life through mentorship, adventure, and discipleship. Each meeting includes assembling with the entire club, then breaking up into small groups called “Cadres” for Bible study, badge work, and games. Events are also planned throughout the year to encourage bonding and demonstrating how all of life is living out our faith in Christ.
